New Chemo Day= Friday?

I was really hoping to share a smiling photo today, but instead I will share this one from the infusion room:

My dad, also disappointed that this won't be a chemo day for me.

My dad was planning on dropping me off this morning for my chemo today (my mom and dad are in town this week).  But, I thought it would be fun for him to see what the chemotherapy infusion room was like and give him a glimpse into my weekly routine.   So, he was planning on sticking around until I received my labs.  Unfortunately, my white blood count was low again and my ANC was also too low at .9.  Again, I need it to jump up to at least 1.5 for me to get chemo.  So, I received the benadryl/steroid infusion and the neupogen injection and then we headed back home.  Please pray that it jumps up to be above 1.5, so that I can get chemo tomorrow.  The oncology office is closed Saturday and Sunday, so it REALLY needs to be high enough tomorrow.  Otherwise, I will have to wait until Monday and that will push me way off schedule.  We currently have a lab appointment scheduled for next Tuesday and then chemo scheduled for next Wednesday.  The goal is to get a couple of neupogen injections (maybe on Tuesday and Wednesday) to bring my counts up high enough for chemo at least by Thursday.  But, we are going to keep my chemo appointments the way they are currently scheduled (Tuesday for labs and neupogen and Wednesday for chemo) for the remaining weeks in hopes that I can get back on track next week.  Thanks again for your prayers.  Otherwise, I am feeling great other than some random head and back pains that keep hanging around.  I am getting an MRI of the brain and right shoulder and an ultrasound (venous doppler) of my port area this afternoon at 2pm just to rule out some things though.  I will provide an update as soon as I receive the results (which I am believing is an "all clear"--just muscle tension perhaps).  Thank you, prayer warriors, for your continued prayers!

Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Mark 11:24  Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
