The bluebonnet is the state flower of Texas. And, it is easy to see why. They are everywhere this time of year--and simply beautiful. When the bluebonnets are at their peak, they signal that spring has arrived. I love driving around town, running errands, and enjoying all of the beautiful little bluebonnets alongside the road. They make me smile and make running those errands around town a little more special.
We found an amazing field of bluebonnets last weekend, so we decided to take some photos. Our camera's self timer is our friend for family photos. It still amazes me that the kids actually look at the unmanned camera (and sometimes even smile).
